Great Courses and Unique Benefits of Studying with us

  • All of our Accounting and Financial Management courses have been accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Because our course is accredited by CIMA, our graduates will be granted exemptions from up to seven CIMA exams, enabling them to fast-track their careers as accountants
  • LSBM is one of only four higher education institutions in London to offer free CIMA student membership to all students on eligible Accounting and Financial Management courses.
  • Students who successfully pass any of our Accounting and Financial Management degrees can gain exemptions not only from 7 CIMA papers, but also exemptions from 9 ACCA papers, as all nine ACCA courses are now fully accredited for exemptions by completing one of our accounting degrees
  • Enjoy the exciting benefits of the ACCA Accelerate program, which could save you up to £961!
  • All of our LLB (Hons) Law courses are qualifying law degrees, and we are now just one of a handful of providers in England and Wales to have been granted Institutional Exemptions for Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) qualifications
  • London School of Business and Management graduates with CILEx Graduate Member status could immediately work in a law firm in roles such as a Trainee CILEx Lawyer, Paralegal or Legal Clerk
  • The CMI offers Higher Education providers partnership opportunities that boost our offering to students by offering CMI membership benefits that include access to their unique online resource portal.
  • Our Business Management courses offer the ability to achieve a full BA (Hons) degree in a period of from just one year, up to four, depending on your entry qualifications. This gives you maximum flexibility and potential cost-savings on course fees
  • Access to our unique LSBM Lighthouse Events which brings together leading thinkers in an exciting series of events at LSBM.

High-Quality Academics, Learning Environment and Research

  • We have been commended for the enhancement of our students’ learning opportunities by the independent Quality Assurance Agency. This commendation recognises not only our commitment but also our success, in continuously improving the student experience
  • The services of our faculty members, many of whom hold a Ph.D. or are working towards their doctorate. All of our academic staff are, or are working towards becoming, fellows of the Higher Education Academy, recognising their commitment to teaching and higher education. Our lecturers also have practice-based experience, providing our students with a ‘real-world’ dimension to their academic studies
  • As of August 2017, we are pleased to announce that LSBM is the first institution that has been granted the honour of Associate Institution status from University of Northampton (UoN). This means that they see us as a key academic partner and confirms the close relationship that LSBM has with the University of Northampton.
  • Building bridges with leading international bodies such as the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Enterprise Educators (UK) and Knowledge Quarter (KQ) to ensure cutting-edge networking opportunities are at the heart of what our academics can draw on to help our students.
  • We ensure that our students participate as active members of the learning community. Every semester each student group elects a Student Academic Representative (STAR) to ensure effective and timely communication between students and the Institution
  • As part of their duties, the STARs are also included as full decision-making members of our Academic Committee and Course Committees, which help shape the way the Institution runs and the courses are delivered
  • We encourage students to engage with their studies and provide regular feedback to allow us to monitor and enhance our course delivery
  • Small class sizes allowing lecturers to provide excellent individual support in a collaborative learning context
  • We are also proud of being an institution that champions research among its academics. We aim to make sure it is relevant and that teachers gain insights from it that can benefit our students and continually improve our courses.
