Enhancing Students’ Employment Opportunities: Higher Education Teaching and Learning Innovations

The London School of Business and Management held its 4th Teaching and Learning Conference 2014 on Tuesday 12 August 2014 from 09.30 to 16.00, with a post-conference reception until 17.30 at:

The Institute of Education, Room 802/804, 20 Bedford Way, London, WC1H 0AL.

The theme of the conference was: Enhancing Students’ Employment Opportunities: Higher Education Teaching and Learning Innovations.

Talks at the conference included the following sub-themes:

  • Promoting and facilitating independent student learning.
  • The use of modern technology in the learning process.
  • Whether the incorporation of ethics into the curriculum impacts on a student’s employment opportunities (including representations for both sides of the argument).

We welcomed academic practitioners, both from within the UK and overseas, to participate and make a contribution to this burgeoning area of debate and would like to thank all attendees for coming.
