Have only a limited number of A-Levels or BTEC Level 3 qualifications? All of our four-year degrees are ideal for applicants who have only studied up to GCSE Level. This course may also be for you if you:
If you don’t have any formal qualifications, you could still be admitted onto the course if you pass our admissions tests and interview.
You can choose to study Accounting and Financial Management, Law, or Business Management. In Year 1, you will complete four Foundation Year modules. Three of these four modules focus on general study skills and the fourth is an introduction to your chosen subject area (Accounting, Law, or Business). These modules have been designed to prepare you for the next three years of your degree.
If you are eligible for funding through the Student Loans Company (SLC) you will be entitled to funding for all 4 years of the course.
This degree is the first step on the ladder to becoming an accountant. To progress, a professional qualification is also essential. Most students will go on to take a professional accounting qualification with one of the major international accounting bodies, such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
This course is accredited by CIMA which means our graduates have been granted exemptions from seven CIMA exams. In addition, this course is also accredited by the ACCA and our graduates are also granted similar exemptions from nine ACCA exams. This means you can save yourself a lot of time and stress in the future, because this degree will equip you with a whole host of ready-made exemptions from the exams of the two leading professional accounting bodies in the UK.
Our students also benefit from free student membership to both ACCA and CIMA throughout the duration of their studies. LSBM is one of only four higher education institutions in London to offer free CIMA student membership to all students on eligible courses. This means that our students can take advantage of both ACCA and CIMA online communities and free resources and career support services relevant to their studies such as: interview tips, CV support, discussion forums, graduate vacancies, information about networking events, and career skills classes run by employers.
You can learn more about CIMA membership benefits and ACCA membership benefits on their respective websites.
On this course you will undertake a rigorous and coherent study of the theory and practice of accounting and financial management and develop an understanding of how accounting and financial management is shaped by and impacts on legal, ethical, social, political, environmental and economic norms.

Corporate Risk Management is an optional Level 6 module that introduces students to the main types of risk facing organisations in todays’ international business environment.
