UK Engagement Survey (UKES) - Prize Winners Announced!

07 Aug 2017

The UK Engagement Survey (UKES) was launched at LSBM at the end of April 2017.

The survey, designed by the Higher Education Academy, is carried out by institutions across the country and helps to let us know how students are engaging with their course.

Top-up and all other non-final year students were invited to take part, and received an email with a personalised link to the confidential survey.

(Students can contact the Survey administrator on with any queries about the survey.)

The survey was open until Friday 16 June 2017 and students who completed the survey were entered into a Prize Draw where they could win 1 of 5 Amazon gift vouchers of £50 each!

We would like to thank all the students who took time out of their day to fill in the survey and help us to make sure that we are always improving our service to our students.

Today we are pleased to announce the winners of the Amazon vouchers are as follows:

  • Elahe Rohani – Foundation Year (Business)
  • Albert-Eduard Vladovici Poplauschi – Foundation Year (Business)
  • Asher Reid – Foundation Year (Business)
  • Livia Andreea Chitoran – Foundation Year (Law)
  • Soufiane Lachhab – Foundation Year (Business)

Above you can see one of those students, Elahe Rohani from our Foundation Year Business course, receiving her Amazon voucher from John Fairhurst, Managing Director and Academic Principal at LSBM.

Elahe was naturally happy to be one of our lucky winners and said she had enjoyed her first year at LSBM. She plans on getting some wireless speakers with the money, and is looking forward to progressing her career (possibly down an entrepreneurial route involving children's daycare) in the years ahead.

We wish Elahe, and the other winners, well in their future endeavours and look forward to implementing the valuable feedback that we have received.
