City Law for ethnic minorities

The 14th City law for ethnic minorities will take on 9 June 2017 at Clifford Chance.

Throughout the day students will be given the opportunity to network with trainees, recruiters, partners and associates, ask questions and gain an insight into what firms are looking for in their ideal candidates. Students will take part in bespoke team challenges, interactive exercises and case studies all designed to showcase what a career in law entails and develop the skills required to succeed!


Who can apply?

  • You must be from an ethnic minority background as detailed in the Census Report 2011.
  • Non law applicants: you must be an undergraduate student in your second, penultimate or final year of study.
  • Law applicants: you must be an undergraduate student in your first year.
  • You are currently studying at university in the UK or Ireland.
  • You must be able to demonstrate academic excellence.
  • Additional skills gained from extracurricular activities will be viewed favourably.


What's included

  • Up to £50 travel expenses covered for students travelling from outside of London
